Kagami Crystal was founded in 1934 and has been providing high-quality products as Japan's first specialized crystal glass factory. This zinc crystal work was made as a commemorative gift to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the company's founding in 1984 (Showa 59). The initial number given to the decanter body and the crystal stopper are engraved, indicating that it is a special item produced in limited quantities. It is a precious cultural asset, with little information remaining even at Kagami Crystal's headquarters. The crane on the crystal surface represents longevity in Japan and is reminiscent of the whiskey "Tsuru" by Masataka Taketsuru, the founder of Nikka Whisky. It would be great if it could be used to divide and manage Nikka Whisky after opening.
