The aroma is a blend of classic Islay malt peat smoke, the sweetness of sherry, and the soft woodiness of aging. It also has nuances of dried fruit, honey, and smoked nuts, evoking the gentle salty aroma characteristic of Bowmore at the time.
The taste is well-rounded, with the gentle peaty notes and complex aged aromas characteristic of Old Islay lingering on the finish.
