Greetings to everyone. We are Antique Liquor 1926.
We have recently opened an online shop specializing in old whiskies and antique glassware. In addition to whiskies and glasses that have aged over many years to become old spirits and antique pieces, we also offer works by Japanese Kogei (Japanese crafts) artists, such as water droppers and ashtrays designed to enhance the enjoyment of whisky culture. We would be very happy to share the unique charm of these aged items with you through our products and articles.
■ About the Owner
As the operator of Antique Liquor, I am a long-time whisky lover and a dedicated consumer of old whiskies. My fascination with old whisky began with its rich flavors and balance that cannot be replicated by modern whiskies, as well as the ability to personally experience the history of people and whisky. This passion for fine spirits naturally led to a desire for beautiful glassware, and my existing interest in authentic artistic works expanded my hobby into the world of antique drinking vessels.
■ About the Old Bottle Whisky
Unlike other antique vessels, once old whisky is opened and consumed, it leaves only a faint afterglow and memory before vanishing forever from our world, never to be passed down to future generations. In this respect, old whisky is truly a cultural asset and a work of art that can be consumed. While these precious old spirits are limited in supply, I believe that the generation living today will likely be the last consumers. In that sense, old whisky is a cultural privilege that can only be enjoyed by those of us living in this era.
■ About Our Collections
While there is no formal public definition for old whisky, I personally define it as whisky that has been discontinued for at least 20 years. The old whiskies I enjoy and introduce at Antique Liquor are various bottles discontinued between the 1950s and the 1990s. These include single malt whiskies, pure malt whiskies (including blended malts), and blended whiskies containing both malt and grain.

Regarding antique drinking vessels, we offer French antique crystal glassware from the late 19th century (1800s) through the modern era, including Baccarat, Saint-Louis, and Daum. We also feature crystal glassware created by glass artists from Japan’s Kagami Crystal.

In addition, we provide various drinking vessels and tools from the field of Japanese Kogei.
Specifically, we introduce works in glass, metal, and ceramics by master craftsmen who reached the peak of their careers during Japan’s Showa period (from the 1960s to the 1990s) and have since become deceased masters of their craft.

Due to import/export regulations and quality control during transit, we do not ship alcoholic beverages internationally, nor do we accept orders placed from overseas for alcohol products. Delivery is strictly limited to addresses within Japan.

For customers living overseas who wish to receive their order at their hotel during a trip to Japan, we can arrange domestic delivery to your accommodation. Please follow the steps below:
