Kagami Crystal was founded in 1934 and has been providing high-quality products as Japan's first factory specializing in crystal glass. The product we are introducing today is a set of twocrystal tumblers, one 8 oz and one 10 oz,manufactured around 1995 .
This rare model features the old logo, a "flying pen" motif, engraved on the side of the tumbler, which is no longer in use. This logo combines a pen nib, symbolizing the transmission of creativity and technology, with spreading feathers, representing the leap forward of tradition, and is thought to feature an abstraction of a craftsman's hand and engraving tools in the center. This logo, which embodies the philosophy of founder Kagami Kozo, is also known as the "feather pen logo" by art lovers and collectors, and is extremely valuable as it has now been discontinued.
The glass itself features delicate diamond cuts, and the solid octagonal base creates a sense of luxury and stability. It can be used for a wide range of drinks, including whiskey, water, and cold tea. This glass comes with the logo sticker and outer box and is in excellent condition. It's a highly collectible piece that conveys the craftsmanship and aesthetic sense of the old logo era.
