This masterpiece was released as a special selection of "Sansai" by three contemporary ceramic artists representing Japan. From the left, they are works by Miyanaga Satoyoshi, Yanagihara Mutsuo, and Morino Yasuaki. Of these three, the work by Morino Yasuaki, a Person of Cultural Merit , is a rare blown glass, making it a very rare and valuable piece. When drinking precious Japanese whiskey, why not enjoy it in a glass from his hometown?

    Riki Miyanaga (born 1935)
    He began studying sculpture at Kyoto City University of Arts in 1954 under Shindo Tsuji and Masakazu Horiuchi, before dropping out in 1960 to travel to the United States. He had connections with Peter Vocus and others, and after returning to Japan he exhibited at exhibitions such as "Trends in Contemporary Art" and attracted attention as a sculptor, becoming a member of the Sodeisha Society in 1971. His organic forms that make use of the texture of the earth are characteristic of his work , and he is regarded as a pioneer of contemporary ceramic sculpture . In 1998 he was awarded the Kyoto Prefecture Order of Cultural Merit , and in 1999 he took on the name Miyaei Tozan III.

    Mutsuo Yanagihara (born 1934)
    A ceramist from Kochi Prefecture, he studied at Kyoto City University of Arts and studied under Tomimoto Kenkichi. Known for his gorgeous style using gold and silver luster glazes, he pursued artistic beauty with an international sensibility after living in the United States. Professor Emeritus at Osaka University of Arts. One of the leading figures in contemporary ceramics .

    Taimei Morino (born 1934)
    A ceramic artist born in Kyoto. After graduating from Kyoto City University of Arts, he produced many works that combined tradition and modernity. Since the 1980s, he has participated in exhibitions both in Japan and abroad and received high praise for his avant-garde forms and glaze expressions. He has been awarded the Cultural Merit Award and is a member of the Japan Art Academy. He is one of the leading figures in contemporary Japanese ceramics.
