This is a "Red and Gold Hand-Blown Glass Sake Cup" by Sakata Jinnai(Jin). Gold leaf is scattered across the clear glass, creating a fantastical reflection of the light between the red base and the gold leaf. The elegant design is both elegant and stable, combining aesthetic value with practicality. Sakata Jinnai was born in Tokyo in 1943, studied under Shoji Kamoda in 1964, and established his kiln in Kami-Oba, Mashiko Town, in 1966. Since then, he has been known as an artist who has incorporated glass and gold leaf into his works. This piece is thought to date from the 1980s and 1990s, when he was actively pursuing the fusion of ceramic and glass and increasingly experimenting with gold leaf and decorative elements. This exceptional sake cup (glass) is a rare piece among Sakata Jinnai's works, and is a masterpiece that will add a touch of elegance to any evening drink or dinner table, making it an ideal gift or collectible piece.
