This piece features a "rain-like pattern" in which beautiful blue glaze drips down the rim, resembling rain pouring down, and the deep glaze and tasteful crazing (fine cracks) are in perfect harmony. The delicate yet powerful shape is impressive, and the size is just right to fit comfortably in the hand, making it suitable for practical use as a sake cup or a sake cup.

The title of the work, "Koshimi," is an auspicious name that combines the word for happiness with the Chinese zodiac sign "Mi (snake)," and it is possible that it was made as a gift or souvenir at the time.

It comes with its original box (a paulownia wood box with an inscription) and original cloth (yellow cloth), and is in good condition as proof of its artistry. This one-of-a-kind sake vessel, created during the difficult times of war, is highly rare and an excellent piece for any collection.
