At the time, the same Dalmore 12 Year Old sold in Europe was bottled at 40% alcohol, but for Japan and the US it was bottled at 43% alcohol. This 3% difference in alcohol content is significant, and old bottles of the Dalmore 12 Year Old bottled at 43% alcohol are extremely popular.

The flavor is characterized by a sweet and mellow taste from delicate sherry cask aging, combined with an elegant and refined woody flavor from the very high-quality oak casks used for aging. Although prices vary depending on the sales region, the selling price at the time is estimated to have been around 16,000 yen.
