Miltonduff Distillery is the "key malt" that supports the structure of Ballantine's, earning immense trust from enthusiasts of vintage spirits. This bottle, imported by Suntory Allied Lions Limited, established in 1988, is an extremely rare domestically distributed bottle from the late 1980s to early 1990s. The luxurious specifications of the export specification at the time, "750ml, 43% ABV," convey the enthusiasm of the transitional period when the European market was moving to 700ml.

This malt, nurtured in the historic "Garden of Scotland" on the site of Pluscarden Abbey, founded in 1230, embodies the elegant essence of Speyside malt. Poured into the glass, the honey and floral aromas rise up in a vibrant way, and on the palate, the rich malt sweetness and creamy texture characteristic of spirits distilled in the 1970s and 1980s unfold in layers. While its clean style is subdued in peat, its mellowed flavor, achieved through decades of bottle aging, promises an exceptional experience that cannot be found in current products.

This masterpiece, supervised by George Ballantine & Son at the time, combines the power and delicacy of "good old Speyside." This single malt, which showcases the true potential of a distillery hidden in the shadow of the giant Ballantine's, combines the rarity of a historical archive with the exquisite flavor of a must-have for collectors.
