This bottle is a 12-year-old single malt from Speyside's prestigious Glen Elgin distillery, distributed during the golden age of Scotch whisky in the 1970s and 1980s. This product was released by White Horse Distillers Ltd., White Horse's original supplier of raw liquor at the time. The top center of the label proudly displays Her Majesty the Queen's Royal Warrant, a mark of quality, and the iconic White Horse emblem.

The neck label bears the Whisky Special Grade stamp, certifying that it was an official import product in Japan at the time, and the back label bears the ad valorem tax mark. The back label also lists the name of the official distributor at the time, Jardine Matheson & Co. (Japan) Limited, the address of the Nisseki main building in Nishi-Shinbashi, Minato Ward, and the address for collection in Yamashita-cho, Naka Ward, Yokohama. The volume is 760ml, the standard at the time, and the alcohol content is 43%.
