The "GLENLIVET" inscription is a historical name once used by many Speyside distilleries, suggesting the bottle's age. A former liquor tax certificate is affixed to the neck, indicating that the product is an official Italian import. The outer box, based on the same design as the bottle, features a classic design with the words "Single Malt Scotch Whisky" in elegant cursive script.
