DAUM Crystal is a luxury crystal brand founded in Nancy, France in 1878. During the Art Nouveau period, DAUM was known as a master of glass art on a par with Émile Gallé, and was highly praised at the Paris World's Fair. This artistic glass features a fern leaf (Fougère) motif and is believed to be a dome crystal Fougère model. From the stem to the base, it features organic, three-dimensional cuts reminiscent of plant roots, which reflect light in complex ways.
